Publish record on website
New records that you create are not automatically published, but must be manually dragged into the right-hand Present panel.
- Select the records you want to publish.
- Move them into the Set on the Space where you want to publish them via Drag and Drop.
If you do not yet have any Sets on your Space, you must first create them and set up a Website Navigation. You can find out how to do this here: Navigation
Recognize published Records
Records with a blue type field are already published on one of your websites.
Records with a white type field are not yet published on one of your websites. They are only in your archive.
This way you can always see at a glance which records you have already published and which have not yet been published.
Recognize in which set a record is located
When you move your cursor over records, the sets in which the record is located light up. A record can be in several sets at the same time - no matter where you adjust it, it changes everywhere.
In this example, the White Cocker Spaniel record is in the Space Manuela Muster and in the sets All objects and 2019.
Only normal sets light up. The membership is not displayed for smart sets.
Here you can see how different sets light up and show the affiliation of the respective records.
Requirements for your records to be displayed in the Space on your website:
The following two requirements must be met for your records to be displayed on your website:
- Your Space must be set to visible. ➡️ You can find out how to set your Space to visible here: Visibility Status of Space
- The set that contains your records must be set to published. ➡️ You can find out how to publish a set in the Space here: Visibility Status of Set
Publish record in the Space in the mobile version
To publish a record on your smartphone with the mobile version of kleio, you must follow the steps below:
- Open the right panel
Presentand open the Space in which you want to move your Record. Then close the Present panel again.
- Now select one or more records for publication using the dot at the top right of the record.
- When you have selected all of them, click on the black dot at the top right of a selected record and drag the records to the right into the Present panel. The panel opens automatically and the space into which you want to move your records is already open (see step 1). Drag the records into this space and into the appropriate set.
- Now they’re published and visible!
No longer publish a record
If you no longer want a record to be published, you can remove it from your website or from your Space at any time.
To do this, click on the set in your Space that contains this record. Then move the mouse over your record and click on the red Remove button. This will only remove the record from the set in your Space, but it will remain in your archive in the left-hand Organize panel.
