Sets & Folders
Set
To organize your records and develop a filing structure in your kleio, you can create so-called Sets. You can name them and then store records in these sets. You can use sets both on the left in your Organize
panel and on the right in your Spaces
. A record can be stored in several sets at the same time.
When you open your kleio for the first time, three sets are already there automatically: left panel for Organize Records: Type = Actor
and Type = Work
and right panel at Present: About
.
Type = Actor
and Type = Work
are so-called Smart Sets.
➡️ More about Smart Sets here: Smart Sets
About
is a normal set.
➡️ You can find out what you can do with sets in Space here: Navigation
You can recognize a set by its rounded frame. The number on the right of the set indicates how many records this set contains. You can change the name of your set by clicking on the three dots.
You can then see the contents of the set in the middle section of kleio.
Create a new set
You have two options for creating a new set.
Option 1 to create a Set:
Click on the + Set
button.
A new field will then appear under your other sets. Enter the name of the set and click Save
to create your set.
To add records to a set, you can select them and drag & drop them into a set.
Option 2 to create a Set:
Select all the records you want to store in a set.
➡️ You can find out how to select records here: Select Records
Then click on Edit
at the bottom of the action menu and select Save selection as set
Give the set a name and save it.
This set is then automatically saved in your Organize panel on the left.
Move record to set
You can move records to sets using drag and drop. You can either move individual records or select several and move them as a group.
Remove record from set
To remove a record from a set, you can move your mouse over the record and click on the red Remove
button. This will remove your record from the set.
The record itself remains and is not deleted, it is simply no longer included in the set.
Rename Set
To rename a set, you can click on the three dots to the right of the set.
Then on the small pen.
Then you can type in a new set name and save it.
Delete Set
To delete a set, you can click on the three dots to the right of the set.
Then onto the small garbage can.
Confirm your selection.
This process only deletes the set, the records remain. You will find them again in the All other records set or in the Actor set (if it is an Actor record).
Change the order of the sets
You can simply drag and drop your sets up and down to arrange them in the order that suits you best.
